This is the house in Haileybury that Valerie grew up in. It is also the house that Leslie McFarlane spent his youth. Leslie McFarlane was the Author of the Hardy Boys series of books under the pen name of Franklin W. Dixon. It is now part of the ‘Ghost of Hardy Boys’ tour in Haileybury, Ontario.
