The Story behind the Print

 

This painting was inspired by a picture that was obtained from the Timmins Museum National Exhibition Center.

 

When I was painting this picture I imagined myself back in the 20’s walking through the bush and coming upon this site.  If I stand on the rock outcrop I can watch the building of the Headframe below.
